BLAST Project

We commenced our ‘Bringing Live Arts to Students and Teachers’ (BLAST) project last week with our artist Evgeny. As part of this programme, the school has decided to create a mosaic feature for our Sensory Garden. Our first workshops involved exploring what 'Ballyadams' means to us, representing important features of Ballyadams through clay and drawing the significant buildings in Ballyadams, We look forward to our future workshops and to showcasing our final piece. Maths Fun!

We are working hard at maths, especially on our subtraction skills. We are learning when to rename a ten as units to solve maths problems. We have used poems, concrete materials and interactive games to help us with our understanding of this concept!
