Our School
St. Joseph's National School, or more commonly referred to as Ballyadams National School is a mainstream, co-educational primary school, located between Stradbally and Athy, in Co. Laois. Our school has a Roman Catholic ethos. The school operates under the patronage of The Kildare & Leiglin Dioscese in the Parish of Ballyadams. Currently there are 97 children in the school. The school building houses 6 spacious classrooms, 2 support rooms, a school library, a sports/general purpose hall, offices, a staff room and store rooms. We are very fortunate to also have use of a large grass playing area for all our recreational requirements.
The school is run by an elected Board of Management.
Ballyadams National School strives to provide a well-ordered, caring, happy and secure atmosphere where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of the pupils are identified and addressed.
